Free Mainland UK Delivery
Wherever possible, all orders include free mainland UK standard delivery. This is subject to items being in stock. For up-to-date stock availability, please contact us by calling 01202 483883 before placing your order to confirm availability, as our web site does not display any stock levels.
Palletised deliveries
Owing to size/dimensions/weight restrictions, some items are shipped on pallets. Wherever possible, we will advise this on the confirmation of order receipt. We are not responsible for the disposal of packaging and/or any pallets from deliveries where the goods arrive on a pallet to protect the item during transit.
Sale or Return
Goods are not provided on a Sale or Return basis, unless agreed in writing before.
Cancellation of an order
Standard stock items may be cancelled prior to dispatch at no extra charge if confirmed in writing. Non-stock items, made to order or 'specials' such as glass writing boards may not be cancelled unless manufacture has not started. These orders can only be cancelled by arrangement and any cost incurred will be levied which is usually 25% restocking charge.
Important Notice due to Courier Terms and Conditions
Due to increased issues with deliveries beyond our control, we have found it necessary to make this precautionary measure and inform you of the following.
All deliveries are Ground Floor delivery only unless otherwise quoted and may require assistance on delivery.
Please inspect your order before signing for it. It is important you do this, as claims cannot be made if it is signed for in good condition, and subsequently found to be damaged. Immediate signs of damage as an example could be a dent, tear, fold or rip in outer packaging.
Please, under no circumstances, sign for the goods 'checked' if you have not fully inspected your order as the courier company will not allow us to make a claim on them for damage or loss. Where it is not possible to inspect the item in full, you must mark this as 'unchecked'.
Shortages or damage must be advised in writing to ourselves within 48 hours of receipt of goods. We are unable to accept any claims for damage outside this period. If you have marked the item as 'checked' and later it is found to be damaged, we will be unable to claim and therefore will not be able to offer any free replacement.
If you are unable to inspect it yourself or you have a main goods-in or a reception area that sign for goods on your behalf, please notify the receiver to sign for the goods as 'unchecked' just as a precautionary action.
We understand that courier drivers are on tight delivery schedules and may put you under pressure to just sign so they can leave quickly, we ask you sign as 'unchecked' even if you cannot see any initial damage.
We are not responsible for the disposal of packaging and/or any pallets from deliveries where the goods arrive on a pallet to protect the item during transit.
If any problems occur during delivery, please ensure you contact us by calling 01202 483883 whilst the driver is there, so that we can try and resolve the problem at the time.
Once you have accepted your goods, you have two (2) working days to check that your product is working satisfactorily as any electronically faulty products can be replaced. After two (2) days, the manufacturer’s warranty comes into effect.
Returns policy
All returns requests must be requested and authorised by Presentation Media. Any returns are subject to the individual manufacturer’s terms and conditions. Any goods to be returned that are not faulty will be the responsibility of the customer to pay for the delivery costs associated with the item.
Goods are NOT sold on a sale or return evaluation basis. Please make sure that you order is carefully placed and in good time to allow for any delivery delays due to stocking issues, especially for time-sensitive installations.
All goods are covered by manufacturer’s warranties as stated on the manufacturer’s product description.
Products which are made to order such as RAL finish, bespoke size or with lead times over 10 days cannot be returned.
Goods purchased in error
Any goods ordered in error may be returned upon request to Presentation Media Ltd. If the return is authorised it will be subject to a fee of 20% of the value of the returned goods. All costs to return the goods must be borne by the sender.
Goods sold in error
If incorrect goods are delivered, these will be collected F.O.C. and the correct goods will be dispatched. A credit note will be issued upon receipt of the incorrectly supplied goods.
Import items
If an item has been imported for you, and you want to return it, you need to consider the costs of shipping the items back to the original export destination. These costs need to be paid for by the customer and there is a 20% restocking fee charged for unwanted items. The goods need to be unopened in the original packaging, so they can be re-sold. Any damage to the packaging may result in additional costs to repackage the item again for resale.
Export and made-to-order (MTO) items
Items sold for export and where items are custom and/or made-to-order are non-refundable and non-returnable.
Goods returned for Credit/Replacement
All goods returned to Presentation Media Ltd must meet the following criteria:
- The equipment must be in the original packaging, and in original condition.
- The manufacturers packaging must not be defaced in anyway.
- The equipment is complete, including discs, chargers, accessories, manuals etc.
Any product received that does not meet the above criteria may be rejected at the discretion of the Customer Services team.
Dead on Arrival (DOA)
Presentation Media will need to be notified immediately of any goods that are faulty on arrival. The customer will need to have authorisation and confirmation of the returns procedure or goods to be swapped out at the discretion of the supplier.
Items may be returned for credit, repair or replacement only if the items meet the criteria laid down within the Manufacturer's DOA policy. The Returns Authorisation request must meet the criteria as laid out in the manufacturer policy guidelines.
Faulty Goods
Any faulty goods falling outside of the terms of the Manufacturer's Faulty Goods policy must be dealt with directly between the end user and the manufacturer. Contact numbers for all the manufacturers are available on request.
Ownership of Goods
The goods remain the property of Presentation Media Ltd until paid for in full by the buyer.
