The aim of the Frost partition was to create a simple piece of furniture with a clear function that works in most environments. The result is a stable, fireproof piece of furniture that is still movable, and unique in design and function. The surface is flat, yet still vibrant and tactile.
Frost has been made from a type of expanded metal usually seen in slightly less refined environments in staircases, grating and flooring. The partition’s flocked surface contrasts nicely against the metal and lends the furniture a soft feel. The surface is flat, yet still vibrant and tactile. The combination of materials makes Frost a unique partition, which is both open and airy, while also providing a screen.
Different results can be achieved depending on how Frost is positioned. The screen can be positioned so that the lattice goes up or down, creating different effects. This means Frost can be used in many ways, for example in office environments, as partitions in corridors, in the coffee corner and in schools. From a distance the screen looks transparent, like frosted glass.
Frost is available in red, black, beige and brown.
Screens are made of expanded metal net with a flocked surface in 4 colours. Includes Foot as shown.
The screen is easy to assemble with an allen key.
